Story of a lost feather.

Hey there! I’m a lost feather.
I was once stuck on a cute bird’s body,
And my material is softer than leather.
I miss the place where I actually was.
Cause when I came down,
I met boot-covered walking claws.
Not every claw was bad.
One of them picked me up and kissed me,
Just like a daughter kisses her dad.
It held me gently amidst its gloves,
And I heard it whispering that I would be a present for someone it loves.
Soon I was in a domain with curbs all around,
And I could sense a room with a fragrance, so profound.
The myrrh was so alike,
That I went down the memory lane.
It reminded me of the place,
Where I caught a wink during the summer rain.
